The PIM, established in 1986 by an Ordinance under the Universities Act 16 of 1978, is one of the eight postgraduate institutes in the university system of Sri Lanka. In addition to Sri Lanka, PIM has extended its wings to other countries by establishing PIM campuses in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar in 2007. In 2015 onwards the PIM MBA programme extended to Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Kingdome of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman and Bangladesh.

The Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) is a self-financed and semi-autonomous body affiliated to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka.

Since 1986 PIM has produced over ten thousands of postgraduates in Master of Business Management to the universe.

Our alumni community is spread across continents, making significant contributions to the corporate world, entrepreneurship, academia, and public service. Through PIMA-Global, we strive to provide a platform for our diverse and talented alumni to connect, collaborate, and leverage their collective expertise and experiences.

OBJECTIVE

The synergy of overseas alumni shall be aimed to enhance various aspects of the alumina culture.

1. Gather all PIM alumni who are living and working in overseas under one umbrella,
2. Organize educational programmes like workshops, seminars etc. for the continuous professional development of the alumni.
3. Organise coordinated Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR campaigns and supports to Sri Lanka, needy alumni so on,
4. Social and entertainment events for better networking among the overseas alumni.
5. PIM brand promotion to enhance the MBA intake locally in Sri Lanka and for the overseas MBA programmes.
6. Career advancement for the alumnus.

The theme is fine. It is customizable and its demos are great. The education plugin also works fine. But, although I like it so much, I want to point out a few shortcomings. Theme is appropriate, I agree.
